Terms & Conditions – Crystal Sky Travels Ltd

Welcome to Crystal Sky Travel. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our services.
1. Introduction
- Crystal Sky Travels Ltd (company no. 16513173), trading as “Crystal Sky Travels”, is registered in the United Kingdom.
- Our registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ
- These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with us, whether we act as agent or as principal. By making a booking, you accept these Terms on behalf of all passengers in the booking.
2. Definitions
- Package: A combination of at least two different travel services (e.g. flight + accommodation) booked together under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.
- Other Travel Arrangements: A single travel service (e.g. flight only, hotel only) which does not constitute a package.
- Agent: When we sell services on behalf of another supplier.
- Principal: When we sell services directly in our own capacity.
3. Our Role
- When we act as agent, your contract is with the supplier (airline, hotel, cruise line, etc.) and their terms apply.
- When we act as principal, your contract is with Crystal Sky Travels Ltd, and these Terms apply.
- We will confirm in writing which role we are acting in.
4. Financial Protection
- As a member of The Travel Trust Association (TTA), all client funds are held securely in trust until suppliers are paid.
- Where we sell flight-inclusive packages as principal, these are protected by our forthcoming T-ATOL licence. An ATOL certificate will be issued where relevant.
- Not all travel arrangements are ATOL-protected; we will confirm protection details at booking.
5. Booking & Payments
- A booking is confirmed once we issue a confirmation invoice.
- Payment terms will be stated on your invoice; failure to pay may result in cancellation.
- Admin Fee: £100 per booking for any major change, reissue, or refund request (in addition to supplier fees).
6. Pricing & Changes
- Prices are subject to change until confirmed.
- Supplier surcharges (fuel, currency, taxes) may apply where permitted.
- If we are acting as principal, we reserve the right to make minor pricing adjustments.
7. Cancellations
- By you: Cancellation charges apply as per supplier rules (agent bookings) or our scale (principal bookings). Deposits are non-refundable.
- By us: or suppliers: You are entitled to a full refund or alternative arrangements.
8. Alterations
- By you: Changes are subject to availability and fees. Supplier charges + our £100 admin fee apply.
- By us: If significant changes occur (e.g. flight time, downgrade, closure), we will offer alternatives or refund.
9. Travel Documents
- It is your responsibility to ensure passports, visas, vaccinations, and entry requirements are met.
- We accept no liability for denied boarding or entry due to missing documentation.
10. Website & Accounts
- Information on our website is provided in good faith but may contain errors; we are not liable for inaccuracies.
- Our website may contain links to third-party sites; we accept no responsibility for their content or services.
- If we provide user accounts for bookings, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login and any activity under your account.
11. Liability
- As agent: Our liability is limited to arranging your booking correctly with suppliers.
- As principal: We are responsible for providing travel arrangements with reasonable skill and care.
- We are not liable for events beyond our control (force majeure: strikes, pandemics, weather, etc.).
12. Complaints
- Raise issues immediately with the service provider.
- If unresolved, contact us in writing within 28 days of your return.
- Disputes may be referred to the TTA arbitration scheme.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
